baby aspirin for high blood pressure

anyone else on baby aspirin?  my doctor put me on it because i developed high blood pressure, pe? and then help ??syndrome with dd.  i know i should have asked about the risks but this discussion occured before my 1st us and i was really nervious at the time.  what are the risks with taking a low dosage of aspirin while pregnant and in 1st and 2nd tri?  we discussed that i would not take it during 3 tri.

There are virtually no risks if it is warranted, and I've never heard of anyone being taken off of it in the 3rd tri except for near the time of delivery. The risks are thinning of the blood--if that is what is necessary, I don't see it as a risk, exactly. 

However, my concern is your previous issues... given your history, you may want to ask your doctor why you aren't on a stronger anticoagulant like heparin or Lovenox. I'm not a doctor but given that I may be moved to one of those anticoagulants due to a family history and my test results in the past, I do know a bit about it. In most cases I'd think a woman with your previous complications would be put on blood thinners for sure.
