Swim Diapers

If you go to the beach/ pool regularly, how many swim diapers do you have? I'm trying to figure out how many I need to get for the summer. I don't really want to use covers we already have because I have read that chlorine can mess up the diapers (do they even use chlorine in baby pools at beach clubs?). TIA!

We take DD swimming once a week. 1 swim diaper is plenty for us. I would say if you're going swimming a few times a week get at least 2 so one can be in the laundry (I just wash in the regular laundry if there is no poop). If the pool is at a swimming club there will be chlorine in the pool.

We have 3 but only used 2 last summer.  We only used 2 because the first one might have gotten pooped in while we were out or when we had one in the laundry.

During the summer we swim every day so we have 2, so that one is always dry.  A's never pooped in the pool yet and he's pretty regular timing wise during the day.  The rest of the year we do swim lessons once a week so if he's grown we just have one swim diaper and don't get the 2nd til the next summer if that makes sense.
