Since we don't have a MOD, I found this on another board. Looks like the format will be changing again.

    How do you find the local boards? I'm in favor if it fixes the slow load times.

    Scroll down. On the left you'll see local bump or nest boards. 

    The new format now lets people "like" your post on fb and tweet it. So much for a private but public forum. Now it's really public.

    Guess I'm done posting here.

    I just saw a thread that they decided to nix it.  They are going to take the option away and you will no longer be able to "like" via FB or Twitter.

    Yeah, a thread on Money Matters says that option is going away. Thank god.

    I have been here for almost 11 years (sad..I know) and I've never cared much about changes here but this one does me in. I've always been worried about my worlds crossing and this is exactly the opposite of what attracted me to this place from the beginning. I have no desire for my real life to interface with this board and so I won't be posting here anymore. I don't know why they chose to do this..seems like a clear attempt to drive people away from the boards..which I don't get at all. They have to know that the vast majority of us don't even discuss that we are on a chat board IRL because we want to be able to share things here that we don't necessarily want people IRL up in our business about.

    Sucks. I think this is going to be a mistake of Netflix proportions...

    We are losing our post counts.  On the new format I only have 3.

    I think that the post count is relative to the boards that have switched over (as in you have only posted 3 times on a local board).  Someone on my local board suggested that once all the boards move over, you should have all your posts accounted for.  Hopefully that is true!  It took me a long time to get to the few posts I have!

    What are the changes - guess I need to go visit my local board.  I am so glad that they nixed the connection to FB and Twitter.
