You know the whole December 2012 apocalypse thing. Figured it was nice to know how long we have, just to be a smartass.
LMAO...just curious. It has caught my attention more than once. : )
I have a GL 450 Mercedes and it is not at all practical for three kids. The babies are in the middle row and Em is in the back with half the third row down. I have the stroller on the other half of the third row. I didn't have a choice when I found out I was having two more babies to trade in my car...

I think that the lexus SUV would work really well with two. Once you get your stroller take it car shopping with you. It might really surprise you. I actually think you could make your sedan work as well.

I hate to butt in on y'all's post, but the title had me curious. Then I started reading about cars, and I figured I'd put in my two cents...hope you don't mind.
I had to get a new car when the twins came (had a little sports car...awww)
I ended up getting the Cadillac Escalade ESV (the long one). It has the captain's chairs on the second row for the twins, and then DD1 is on one side of the third row. We have the other seat in the third row folded down for the long stroller (Joovy Caboose Triple Sit and Stand), but my double Combi fits fine with the seat up. There is still plenty of room in the trunk, although I manage to fill it up! We took out the head rest on the second row seats so I could reach over to help buckle when needed. The only negative is when the twins' carseats (Marathons) are rear-facing, DD1 has to crawl under on the floor board to get out. Luckily, she's young and flexible! I think this set up would work well with a Suburban or Yukon as well.
Good luck with your decision! I'm not a fan of minivans, but I do agree with the convenience factor! I wish my truck had doors that slide open...would be a lot easier to get carseats/kids in and out!
