And it was totally different then my one last year. Last year I didn't remember anything that happened during it... this time not so much.
When we first got there m blood pressure was all wacky. We finally got that under control. So into OR I go. I heard everyone talking... my dr, think I got a bad dose of HCG cause it was nearly impossible to get my eggs out. They put a catherter in me to get some urine out to run a pregnancy test, and it took a long time to become positive and with the amount of HCG that was in me it should have been colored right away. I felt every poke and suck?( i am not sure exactly how they suction the follicles out. lol) It was the worst feeling in the world...By the time they were done, they got 6 follicles and I will get the maturity and fertilization report. Last time I didn't have any pain, discomfort or anything....
I have had many crys today. I feel so disappointed and defeated with the small amount of follicles this time (last time I had 22, and only 6 fertilized) I am soo much more uncomfortable then last time. I am just a miserable mess. And yes, I know you only need one....
Thanks for reading if you go this far!
Re: ER was today...
OMG! I have read of this happening but it very rare. I hope that they are now aware that you were conscious during the ER. I could not imagine what you went through.
Hey - 6 eggs is still great and it only takes that 1. GL with the fert report.

I?m sorry you had to go through that. I can identify because my clinic doesn?t put patients out for egg retrieval (that is fairly standard here in Canada). They give you a mixture of Fentanyl and Midazolam which didn?t quite do it for me! I actually swore out loud in the middle of ER!
Take care of yourself and try to get some well deserved rest.
FX for a great fertility report.
