On the night of the 22nd, my water broke with absolutely no contractions. I called the birth center regarding it and stayed home that night. The next day, the birth center called and told me to come in. I went in at about 9:30am. They started me on pitocin since contractions still hadn't started. At 5pm, I was checked. I was still only 2cm and it was discovered that there was another sac of water. The doctor broke it. Contractions then got much stronger. At 8, I was still at 2cm. They started an epidural around 9 and I was able to relax enough to get to 5cm by midnight. At 4am on Friday, I was 8-9 cm and that is when I stalled out. I actually went backwards. They increased the pitocin hourly until the max, at noon I was back to 8cm but at 2pm I was still at 8 and it didn't appear that I would progress so Gunner was born by C-Section at 3:15pm, 8lbs 13oz, 21 inches on the 24th. Pics are posted in my profile.
