Update: Bedrest

Hi All, Well it looks like my blood pressure just could not stay down this pregnancy. Yesterday I had my weekly 17p shot and blood pressure check. My pressure was up to 150/92 which landed me a few hours in L&D. My weight has been good, no protein in urine. Once I got there, hocked up the machines, my pressure did come down, but they asked me if I knew about my contractions. I had no idea I was having them, one every 5 minutes. I was given procadia to stop contractions, which didn't work, then I was lucky enough to get terb (which is so nasty), makes your heart race. I also got one steroid shot for the baby. I have to return tonight for the second shot. I'm actually at 33 weeks pregnant, and I'm really hoping to make it 35 weeks. I'm on bed rest for the next two weeks, if contractions start back up after 35 weeks, doctors won't stop them and they will just let me deliver. If you have any extra prayers, please send them my way.

I got a shot of terb during my labor and I don't recall any side-effects, but maybe I was not paying attention!
