Waiting

It's so funny.  When I was going au naturel, the 2ww would drive me crazy at times.  But now, with IVF, it seems like there are tons of waiting times...

  • meeting with RE
  • getting bloodwork done
  • getting results
  • starting protocols
  • waiting for periods (and you actually WANT them to come)
  • waiting for stims to work
  • waiting for ET
  • and finally the 2ww as well

It's amazing how much waiting you do and how anxious you can get about it all.  I'm in the down regging portion of this process and waiting for my AF to come so I can get my baseline scan, get the dilapan inserted and then start stimming.  I've never found waiting for my period to arrive so frustrating - and I have more waits in front of me.  Sigh.  This process can be frustrating.

    i totally agree!  there is always so much waiting!  it can be extremely frustrating. 

    then my RE decides not to call me back with my fert report the day after ER, and then they did it again on the day of my beta (that time i paged the heck out of him until he did call me back).  I got so mad because i was like - isn't there enough waiting built into this process without you adding more?!?

    It is one big waiting game...that is for sure!  I am currently waiting on AF too.  I think she is showing signs of arriving today or tomorrow.  So excited to get to the next IVF2 step of...waiting.  Good luck to you!  Hugs!

    13R. We have 3 CCS Normal Embryos!


    Lupron Depot: May 2013 to August 2013
    Long awaited FET on 9/3. 2TFR'ed.
    BFP on FRER 5dp5dt: IN SHOCK!
    Beta1 9/10: 152.7! Beta2 9/12: 378! Beta3 9/14: 1224! 

    1st ultrasound 10/1: TWO beautiful heartbeats!  Overjoyed!
