Period cramps

I had these a few days ago on and off. Then this morning I had them again, pretty bad for about two hours on and off. They did not seem timable.

Is this just pregnancy pains or the beginnings of something...anything!!? I have not had this at all so far during pregnancy.

That happened to me around 37ish weeks with DD.  I went into real labor about a week later.  Maybe just false labor?

I've been having these also and did with my previous two pregnancies also.  Dr. claims they're just a different form of Braxton Hicks contractions since to me they fell nothing like my typical BH contrax.

Oh boo. I have been having BH since like twenty something weeks, I thought this might be something exciting!

Maybe they are?  I always thought I was just cramping with BH or RLP and I was in labor----I still don't know what to look for!

My first labor began with period like cramping, but it would start and stop. It just got progressively worse over the course of a day.

I had the same thing going on earlier this month, around my 28 week point. I just ignored it, as I thought Braxton Hicks contractions. Then I read somewhere that BH should not be painful, that if you are having pain you should call your doctor. My doc sent me to the ER to be monitored. I had a severe UTI, which my bladder was contracting. If left untreated it could put you into labor. It's always better to be safe than sorry, I say call your doctor!

have had period like cramps for a few hours at a time yesterday and this morning, then they go away. They are not typical BH. My uterus does not tighten with the cramping like normal BH, in fact its a constant period like cramping. From what I've been reading appears to just be body getting ready for labor. I'm 35 weeks and 6 days.
