DDing is bad mmkay? (Phisher exposed)

knicole818 Joined on 12-21-2008 10 Posts 330 Points --> Late period but 2 BFN --> I miscarried early on into my first pregnancy (6 weeks or so) back in October, and was directed by my doctor to wait until I had gone through two menstrual cycles before ttc again. Before the miscarriage, my cycle was spot on at 30 days, but every cycle since then has been 35 days. Based on a cycle of 35 days, I am currently 3 days late for my period. I know 3 days late is still in that early phase of testing with a hpt what with possible low hcg still and all, but I've had two BFN and I am just wondering if anyone has similar stories to share? I just don't know what's going on. My period is never late like this. Last time around, I started feeling nausea when my period was 3 days late and I tested positive on my first hpt at 5 days late. I have had some minor stomach aches/nausea, but not much. Last time, my boobs were sore as heck, too, but that hasn't happened yet, either. I have had some minor lower back pain, which I had last time too, but I normally get that when my period is coming on as well. So, have you experienced anything like this before? Or, be honest, do I just need to be more patient and wait this out a bit? Do I continue to stick with the hpt and see what happens? At what point do I not wait anymore and perhaps contact my doctor if I don't get my period? I want so much to be pregnant, but I feel like my body and these hpts are messing with me!! Thanks ladies!

MissMheMhe Joined on 10-28-2011 1,910 Posts 41,639 Points --> --> Do you chart? You didn't mention it so I assume you do not. Therefor you have aboslutely no idea whether you even Oed. Charting your BBT and using opk's will help you to understand your body better. It is possible to have wonky cycles post m/c so it could be anything. Keep poas until a bfp or AF arrives. If you get a bfp, please go straight to PGaL. If AF, you are more than welcome here. Also....this post is considered phishing. Be prepared to be flamed for it. It is not cool to intro yourself and in the same breath ask if we think you are ktfu and what you should do. Just sayin.... I am truly sorry for your loss.

delino Joined on 06-16-2011 1,657 Posts 32,010 Points --> --> Just because you are 2 days past your "normal" cycle days means nothing. Unless you chart you don't know when or if you ovulated. No one can tell you if you're pregnant. If you are concered, call your doctor. Otherwise, be patient and keep testing or wait till AF shows.

So, let me see if I can help: The TTCAL board operates a bit differently from other boards. It is a tight knit community of established members that opens its arms to new members. But certain unofficial rules are expected to be followed... First of all, it helps to post an introduction about yourself before asking questions. People here like to know who you are first. Secondly, it is HIGHLY appreciated -- almost demanded -- that you read a VERY helpful blog previous bumpies have set up to answer all the FAQs of TTCAL newbies and some etiquette. Speaking of etiquette... the way you worded your post is what is commonly referred to as "phishing." It is a BIG no-no here and you WILL get flamed for it. "Phishing" is where people write posts, normally as newbies, describing pregnancy symptoms and basically it appears that they're asking for board members to reassure them that they are/could be pregnant. Sometimes people "phish" on purpose to stir drama. Other times, it is an innocent act that they don't realize is taboo on this board. All of that being said.... I am so very sorry for your loss. It is generally said to POAS every few days till 60 days w/out AF and then at that point, call your doctor. Personally, I'd be calling a lot sooner than 60 days, but that's what a lot of women on here generally say. Good luck to you.
