Have any of you who have gestational diabetes had your babies heart looked at?  I was diagnosed at 10 weeks for GD and now at week 22 they want to do an echo on the babies heart.

It seems to be depending on the practice you go to. My MFM's office requires it and I had it done.

Nothing to be horribly alarmed about since it just seems some doctors want it, while others don't. I say better safe than sorry

I'm having it done next week... my doctors said it's pretty standard for them to do this on anyone diagnosed early

I did not, with either of my girls. It was never suggested by any of my doctors.
