daycare/ daycare and catholic school for 3 will be about 75% of my take home pay now but like a pp mentioned my take home is already less our health insurance deduction, my 401k, my flex/ dca contributions and doesn't include my quarterly bonuses which can be pretty significant.
If anyone were to stay home it would be my DH as I carry the health insurance and he doesn't have any company retirement accounts etc. daycare/ school will work about to about 70% of his take home
Daycare for our 2 kids costs roughly 25% of what I take home. So it's definitely worthwhile for me to work from a financial standpoint, not to mention that I love my job and have many professional goals I've yet to achieve.
I love my kids more than life but I'm not interested in being a SAHM.

We are actually very lucky. I work from home one day a week and my SIL watches DD one day, so we only have 3 days a week of daycare. It's about 20% of my DH's take home and about 15% of mine. If we had 5 days of daycare it'd be more like 30% of my DH's take home pay.
