I just posted about the short cervix, but this is the longer post I put on the 3rd tri board
I went in for my 28 week growth ultrasound today, and for starters LO is messuring at 31 weeks, she is 4lbs which is 98th percentile. Then we found out my cervix is between 1.8cm and 2.0 cm. The doctor talked about starting steriod shots, possible bed rest, the baby coming early. He decided that I need to come back in tomorrow to have the FFN test for pre-term labor and then we will go from there to see what we need to do as far as bed rest and steriod shots.
Now I am at work and there is no way I am going to be able to focus on work with everything that was just thrown at us. I feel like everything is up in the air and I have no way of knowing what to expect going forward and I hate that. Does anyone else have a short cervix? how short it to short? I don't know anything about this and I don't feel like I was given any answers from my doctor.
