Showing w/ #2.. am I crazy?

I just got my bfp on Monday... and realized I'll be 14 weeks at my BFF's wedding on Jan 2. I just got my bm dress in; a gorgeous (fitted) Vera Wang dress I've been dying to wear. Since it's a bm dress, it naturally came big and I'll have to have it altered. Am I insane to hope to fit in it, and look halfway decent at 14 weeks? Or will I need an empire waist by then....

FWIW, the dress is a deep v neck front and back, and then fitted but not super tight to the hips. I think I'll have to get a back up dress just in case. When did you start really showing w/#2?

I started showing about 11 weeks with #2.
I think you should be ok if they take it out a little bit. That way you have some "wiggle room".

I am 14 weeks now. I have gained no weight, but have a definite bump. It's been there for weeks now too. Probably since about 10-11 weeks. It is unmistakeable at this point.

I was about 13 weeks with this one when I started to show. You still might be able to pull it off though.

I am 9 weeks pg with #2 and am showing to those that know me. Nobody else would guess but I'm definitely a little thicker in the waist. I would have them leave some extra room but it would probably fit you okay - you wouldn't need a maternity one by then.

I was in a wedding with #1 at 15 weeks and was showing. I found an alteration place that finalized the alterations 2 days before the wedding so it fit okay. It wasn't the most comfortable thing I have ever worn though.

I had two close together so it may make a difference but at my 8 week appt I was full blown pregnant. Even my doc went, "woah, you are showing already!". I was a bit sad with her reaction haha
