DS refuses to sit on potty for me

We've been PTing since last weekend.  Al of a sudden he won't sit on the potty for me.  As far as I know he does for DH and our parents.  Any ideas?  I can't force him to sit on it.  When I ask him to, he just says "yet" which means not yet, or no.

    does he have accidents when with you?

    If he is just saying 'no' when you ask he my just not need to go.

    I taught my 2-year-old how  to 'use the toilet' alone she doesn't have to let me know when she wants to go she likes being 'in charge' of it herself. I am of course close by to help with wiping or hand washing.
