And I am not a huge Obama fan, and I am 100% tired of this election.  But this made me tear up - how freaking sweet.  I am obviously a sap when it comes to kids.

    Thats a great project. The kuds are SO excited when they get a letter back from a granfparent or cousin, I can't imagine how pschyed this kid must have been.

    LOL...ok the cynical part of me thinks he did this for more votes...BUUUUT...still supa nice ;) Oh and that same cynical part of me thinks one of his aids wrote all that. 

    Ok but still...really nice that he (or whomever) did that.  :P

    Yeah, well you're probably right (and I wondered as well), LOL!

    I can't imagine how excited that kid was though... Flat Stanley was super popular back when I subbed in college. The kids went nuts over him.

    Oh for sure...Flat Stanley is still a big deal.  My nephew sent his Flat Stanley to my hubs in Australia this past year when he was over there working and he was so excited because his went the farthest :)  Flat Stanley is a status symbol in the 3rd grade :)
