Pottery Barn Easter Baskets

I am ordering the kids basket liners today and am wondering if these liners will fit other baskets from like walmart or target.  the baskets online are more than the actual liner.

so if you ordered the liner, did you also order the basket from pottery barn?  if not, where did you get yours?

Re: Pottery Barn Easter Baskets

  • I ordered the basket & the liners together.  I have 2 large baskets and one small--orginally DDs.  Currently DS2 uses the small--debating buying him the large but I think we have one more year where we can get away with him having the small--kwim?

I hear some people take the liner to Micheal's and pick out a basket.

The way I figure it--my kids have used these baskets very year (same ones), so the cost of them so far annually is $7 for my (almost) 7 year old and if it makes it til she is 18, its less than 3 dollars per year.

Ha. I just had to chuckle at this because I am forever using "cost per use" to rationalize my purchases :)

Ditto! I also bought the baskets + liners from PBK. I have heard of people buying baskets other places but to be perfectly honest .... I am way too lazy to run around town looking for three baskets that would fit the liners. I don't have the time or the desire to do that, I guess. It was way easier to suck it up and pay PBK prices and order it all on-line :-).

  • We just ordered the Personal Creations version of the PB basket. $19.99 with a bunny and candy. I keep picturing my son sitting in it and couldn't handle spending $35+

  • I tried to find a comparable basket at Michael's to save money, but they didn't really have one.  The one basket I found just didn't seem deep enough.  So, I ended up ordering everything from PBK.  They had free shipping the other day, plus I had a $25 rewards certificate, so the $36 I spent didn't seem that bad.  This will be DS' forever basket, so like pp said, it's actually a bargain! HA!

  • Glad you posted this...I needed new Easter baskets for all of them last year (was DD's first Easter at 3 weeks old), but I waited too late.  Same for Christmas stockings.  SO, I went and ordered three new baskets with liners, done.  Hope I can do the same for stockings this year, so we'll have complete sets for those things and not have to worry about it anymore!

  • We bought the baskets plus liners from PBK - for simplicity and because of quality stuff.  HOWEVER...I wish we would have found something else for long term - obviously given the handle on top you can't stack them (pain in the arse) for storage, and that alone makes me wish I had found something else!
