I am a bridesmaid in a wedding and the bride gave me the cost and it is a lot higher than I thought.. I don't know if I have been hiding under a rock or am totally cheap. The hair dresser will come to the brides hotel room- I am sure that makes a difference.

In a salon I'd say anywhere from $40-80
On location, $75-125.
PS - I actually do on location hair and makeup for weddings, and I charge $75 for just hair, $139 for hair+makeup. This is a fair price in my area, not dirt cheap but not as expensive as some others.

I never pay to have this done when I've been in weddings. Seriously have to draw the line somewhere.

I am cheap!! It will be $55 for the hair and an extra $55 for makeup- but we are in a low cost of living. 4 years ago at my wedding it was $35, but we went to the salon in another low cost of living city.
I was going to say $30-35 for my area, but the COL is really cheap.
