I'm not sure if that's the case for every base, but the company that runs the base housing where we're going has all of the available "base" housing listed on ahrn. Base in quotes because most of it is actually a few miles away from the base in our case.
You can just Google the base name + housing and you can usually find the website for the company that runs the base housing if it's privatized.
Like PP said, it depends on the base since companies vary. There's a FB page (just click on photos) where you can get an idea of what housing looks like at each base.
