Ugh. I have been waiting very patiently for the pathology reports from the placenta on twin 1. When I went in for my 6 week PP appt in December, they told me to call after the first of the year. I called mid January after gathering up the energy to do so. I missed the call. The dr said he would call back and I never heard from him again. I finally called again last week. A nurse called back and said the doctor would call me Tuesday (today). He called, I ran out of a meeting I was leading to take the call. He told me the results said that the twins were fraternal (duh), twin 1 (the one that passed) had multiple abnormalities (again, duh) and that twin 2 was male. Seriously? This is what I have been so worked up about--nothing? No new info? I asked him about that and explained that I was told they were doing genetic testing and would have more info. He then told me that he that wasn't his area and he would see if he could find someone to explain it to me at a later date. DD's loss has been hitting me extra hard the past week or so and I was really hoping to get some answers.

I hope you get some answers soon~ I would also ask for a referral to a genetic counselor as soon as your test results are in, so she/he can give you more detailed info if needed. I also agree about calling and raising hell! More than 6 weeks is long enough! Many (((HUGS))) I hope the week is more gentle on you.
