C-section on Monday

I just went and saw my OB again...saw him on Monday too.  Anyway, I am still only 1 cm dialated but I guess it really doesn't matter b/c the baby is breech and I am scheduled for 7:30 am on Monday.  I have to be there at 5 am and I can't eat or drink 8 hrs prior.  Ugh I am nervous already!!  How the heck am I going to sleep on Sunday night?

Good luck to you! I go in for a c-section on 11/11 at 10am.  I can't eat or drink any after midnight.  That's gonna be rough for me!  Try not to be nervous, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Try not to worry about it, just focus on the fact that you'll be meeting your little one soon and you'll do fine. A tip from a c-section mom to you: Walk, walk walk! Walk around the ward as soon as they allow you to. The sooner you get up and walk the sooner you'll feel better and moving around will get easier and easier. Good luck!

That's funny -- I keep wondering how I'm going to sleep the night before mine, too! ?I'm scheduled for 10:30 am on 11/7. ?Good luck!! ?How exciting! ?Be sure to give us an update ?

That is exciting. Mine is scheduled for 11/7 at 10am and I think the same thing. I had a c-section the first time but it was emergency so this time around is a lot different. GL!
