are the bumgenius pocket diaper inserts the same as the flip stay-dry inserts?

 i have a bunch of the 4.0 inserts and i'm planning to get some flip covers. i can't tell from the pictures online if they're the same or not ... thanks!!

    Not the same. The regular inserts are all microfiber, the flips have a layer of stay dry on top. Microfiber shouldn't go next to babe's skin as its very drying.

    If you really want to use the 4.0 inserts you could cut pieces of fleece to put on top of them to protect your LOs bum.  But I just use prefolds b/c they're so much cheaper than the Flip inserts.
