I failed my glucose test. Now I have to schedule the 3 hr test. I have such a sweet tooth plus I don't eat meat. I guess eggs and cheese are in my future. Boo
being GD is not that bad, you can still eat great food you just have to pay attention! you have total control of this outcome, and a positive attitude will get you there. GL on your outcome, but if you are GD you are not alone, i eat great and feel great!
ps, you can totally eat sweets, i have eaten a couple cupcakes, and i test and am way under its about portions, and combinations, i rarely eat meat and my SO never does, here is my food blog, it is going to soon be filled with tasty and easy vegetarian things for GD, i'll even try some deserts just for you!
Been there done that. I am waiting for them to call this pregnancy and tell me I failed the one hour. Knock on wood I can continue my trend of passing the three hour. Good luck! Be sure to bring a protein snack to eat as soon as you are done.
I failed mine, too - and failed it big (211). I have the 3 hour tomorrow. I know there are some "false positives" on the 1 hr, but I fully expect to fail it because my level wasn't anywhere close to where it was supposed to be. PP, thanks for posting the link to your blog - I will probably be looking at it in the future. I have some food allergies and am still struggling with a lot of food aversions, which makes me more nervous about it - but most likely, it will be time-limited, which is helping me not to freak out too much about it.

That stinks, but a lot of people fail the 1 hour and pass the 3, so don't give up hope yet!! I am leaving for my 1-hour in a little while...and am hoping I pass. I passed with my other two kids, but just have a feeling this time that I won't be so lucky.

I was just diagnosed. I am still in the adjustment stage and I a bit overwehlmed. I feel like it will get better as time goes by.
