I modified the check in a bit (to shorten it and focus more on the ladies currently cycling and expecting). Please let me know if you liked it better the old way and I?ll gladly replace it!

MFI Weekly Check In

This group is for those of us dealing with male factor issues. We welcome everyone but mostly we are dealing with low count, motility, morphology or all three. Male infertility is a mysterious world filled with questions no one, including REs, urologists, acupuncturists or anyone else seem to have the answers to. Any treatment suggested is a coin toss for success and a 3 month wait for a fresh batch of swimmers. Most of us are told the only answer is IUI or IVF w/ICSI. The purpose of this group is to support each other through shared experiences and to share any info we can because the more informed we are the better. We have a check in every Monday morning (in this case it's Tuesday due to yesterday's holiday) but I will try to post a link later in the afternoon/evening also. Welcome and GL and PPVs to all!

Update: ET was changed to 2/22. Lately just dealing with lots and lots of anxiety (not over the transfer itself but the thought of what happened last time w/loosing our son & the possibility of going into another pregnancy is really, really scary to me). Wish I could enjoy this time but that is not at all the case.

QOTW:  Aloe Vera gel. Nothing fancy but it's my favorite facial moisturizer to use at night!

Cover up! I hate that I still suffer from adult acne so I could not face the day without my concealer.

 Just met with new RE which we will do our IVF with. Doing 1 iui cycle with them & then will be doing IVF with ICSI.

 

I cannot live without chap stick of some sort.

Update: Nothing too new, yet. We meet with the doctor next week to discuss our next step and the results from tests they've run. 

QOTW: Lancome Clarifiance face wash. For whatever reason they don't sell it in Europe, so I always have to bring it back from the US. I also love a simple eye liner so I look awake.

I was able to trigger at my first monitoring appt yesterday, which made me really happy (cycle only cost me $725 all inclusive 100% OOP, yeah!). I had 3 mature follies. A 20 and two 18s. One of the 18s may be a cyst though (looked hazy). 

Unfortunately it was bad news with our IUI #s this morning. Prewash was 25 mill/mL 41% motile, post was was 2 million, 75% motile.  I'm in the 2ww now.

QOTW: I don't know if this counts, but I cannot live without Chapstick. Especially in the winter.

I got KU with my first IUI when we only had 1 million total motile post wash!  Fx for you girl!
