I told Gavin a friend was coming to play today before he went to bed last night.  He was so excited...has been talking about it all morning.  The mom just texted me to cancel.  He's so bummed!

I've done that - it sucks, you feel so sad for them when they are disapointed. Hopefully he gets excited about something else today and the day's not lost.
