I choose Allison, but I like the name Alice better. I'd use Alice as the first name.

I like them both, I am actually an Allison.  However, I do not care for Alice as a nn for Allison.

Ariana w/ nn Aria is on our list of some day possibilities but DH is not a huge fan.

I chose Allison but I do not care for Lynn for a mn with it - doesn't flow well imo. I also do not care for Alice as a nn.

Love Allison though - it is in our top 5 and we would use the nn Ally.

I prefer Alice, but don't think it works with Lynn. I think it's kind of silly to use Allison if you want to call her Alice.

Alice is not a nickname for Allison. What is everyone's obsession with nicknames?? If you like Alice, name her Alice. I like Aria best from the list.

My name is Allison - went by Allie in middle school but there were a few times people called me Alice so I suppose it could work. (Granted the boys on my school bus were calling my Alice in Wonderland & it drove me crazy! But I don't think it's a big stretch)

I'm an Alison (one L, middle name Leigh). I've never thought of Alice as a nn--more like someone wasn't really listening when I told them my name. 

If you like Alice, go with that. It's pretty and classic.
