so what did you get your 2 yo who have spring/summer bdays?

i know this from experience - when you have a winter bday, you get winter things (clothes, toys, etc).  when summer comes along - ya got nothin.  help me think of outdoor/warm weather toys M will like when the frozen tundra thaws and she's 2 1/2.

  • sand and water table - she loved it, and loves it still.  We set it up for her with just sand in the garage when it is cold out.

  • Loading the player...
  • a swingset

eta: that might be kinda difficult to get now for the summer!

  • A bubble lawn mower.

    Trike

    Wagon

    Swing

    Golf clubs?

Sticks, rocks, corn (okay, just kidding)

    ?

And we got this last year, and LOVE it. (apparently, I am going to have to do a separate post.)

  • My DD has an October birthday but it's still warm here on her birthday :).  We got her a playhouse.  My MIL/FIL got her a bench/table.  She also has a sand/water table from last year.
  • The step 2 fountain cottage.  DD loves it and it gives us a place to put her outdoor toys so they are not everywhere.
  • I second the sand-and-water table.  Also outdoor toys like a lawnmower, playhouse, push car.  And we got a moonbounce for DD's second birthday (and for use at future parties) that we plan on setting up inside occassionally during the winter.
  • I am getting my December baby a wagon and tricycle for Christmas.  DS loved his water table and cozy coupe and I am sure he will like them next year at 2.5 also.

  • We got her the Barbie Jammin Jeep, she LOVES it!  My one year old son likes to sit in it too, he does not realize the "pink-ness" of it.  But, they can soon ride in it together. :)  Perfect for outdoors in the summer. :)
