I've read it and am still in the process of reading it. (Goes from newborn to 5 years old). It's okay. Basically she says to start by putting baby down drowsy but awake. This took us a lot of practicing. Then you move onto the "sleep lady shuffle" which is basically waiting for your baby to fall asleep while in the same room and reassuring him with pats, sshhhs, and other soothing techniques. We have yet to try it because anytime P wakes in the middle of the night she is completely inconsolable unless fed. So I figure she's hungry.
