Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" Inspiration: Has He Finally Been Revealed?

Many of the poignant lyrics on Adele 's Grammy-winning album, 21, are inspired by heartbreak and disappointment.

And now, sources have revealed the identity of the man who inspired her huge hit song "Rolling in the Deep."

So who is he?

A musician and actor who goes by the name of Slinky Sunbeam, according to the New York Post .

"Adele likes to keep part of her life back for herself, but it's an open secret that Slinky was the guy who inspired 21," a friend of Adele's said. "He's a seriously good-looking guy. He has a great body and likes to wear vests to show it off. And he has this crazy hair which reminds me of Jimi Hendrix?it's really wild and untamed."

Adele's pal added that Slinky is "a really popular guy, the life and soul of the party, and he's a musician as well."

His breakup with Adele was reportedly a driving force behind her tunes "Someone Like You" and "Rolling in the Deep."

While Adele says she and Slinky simply "grew apart," her friends say Slinky took a liking to Burberry model Morwenna Lytton Cobhold.

Heartbreak is definitely no fun, but at least Adele gets to have the last laugh: Not only did she sweep up six Grammys last Sunday, she also has a new man, 36-year-old Simon Konecki.
