I am looking into cribs and dressers for my second baby. I am hoping to find less expensive furniture than I did for my son since this will be the second set and while I have a feeling my parents may help us with buying it again, they did just spend a ton on his baby furniture. I came across a few cribs I really loved on JCP.com and they are really inexpensive, one that I really like is only $275. Anyone buy from them? They are online only so I am just looking for anyone with personal experience. I have been doing some reasearch but it is always nice to hear from you guys. Also, if you bought inexpensive baby furniture anywhere else and care to share with me I would appreciate it!
PS- I hope it doesn't come off sounding like I am cheap! I still want it to be good enough quality but, I am not looking to spend a small fortune, if that makes sense.
Re: Anyone buy their baby furniture at JCPenney?
DS' dresser is from JCP. It wasn't very expensive (none of his furniture is...I am pretty cheap), but it's holding up great. We did pick up in store to save on shipping and DH had to put it together (kind of a PITA), but it's worked great for us for 2+ years.
No experience on the crib though, we bought it from Target (Graco Lauren - also inexpensive and holding up just fine).

We got DD's crib, dresser and toy chest (all matching) at JC Penney online. We also shipped to store, and paid around $250-275 for the crib, about $250 for the dresser, and $150 for the toy chest. I'm happy with it all, and plan on buying our second set from them as well.
If you end up getting a convertible crib, it doesn't come with conversion rails to make it into a full sized bed, (only comes with the side rail for toddler bed) so if you want the ones that go with the crib you get, you should probably get those too, since they may not always carry them!
