gift and donate/return question

DH's aunt sent DS  2 gifts.  we returned one because we're moving and it added to the plethora of stuffed animals we have.  the other is a toy set of golf clubs.  DH's aunt is really into golf and i thought it was sweet.  DS can't use them because of his special needs but our nephews could when they visit.  

DH wants to return or donate them.  I want to keep.  How do you compromise on this situation?

FWIW  they're inexpensive and from walmart so i doubt we could even buy anything else with the money.

    I'd keep them for your nephews and for the baby you're pregnant with.
