xp: help my LO STTN

DS is 8 weeks old and FF. Weighs approx 11 lbs. He takes 4 oz every 3 hours - on the dot. Goes to bed between 9-10p but continues to wake up every 3 hours for feeds. He might get one dreamfeed after he goes to bed but he will wake himself up for feedings.

Struggling with trying to get him to STTN. Any suggestions? I thought that by now there should be some longer stretches of sleep! Desperate mommy here!

Very dark room. Tight swaddle ( use the Miracle Blanket or escape proof swaddle), Loud white noise. Bath, lotion, PJs, bottle, rock, sleep. This combo buys us 6-7 hours with our 9 week old.

Give it time! 8 weeks is pretty young to be STTN.

Are you using a paci? DD1 was about that age when I noticed her night time crying wasn't her usual hunger cry, she just wanted to soothe. Popped in a paci and never looked back (you know other then the 4x's a night she would drop the paci!).
