I'm considering (down the road) getting a tattoo. If I do, it will be a memorial tattoo, and I haven't totally decided on the design. However, it would be fairly small (quarter to golf ball size) and either white ink (somewhat controversial, I know) or very light inks only (no black lining) b/c I want it to be very subtle.
What I don't have any clue about is the placement. I want it somewhere that I can show it to other people if I want to show it to them and maybe even some place that could be exposed if I wanted it to be exposed, but I want it some place that isn't routinely "out there." Basically, I've come to the conclusion that I want it some place that my grandchildren would never see it unless I showed it to them (like shocker: "Did you know that Grandma has a tattoo???" "NO WAY!).
I've considered ribcage somewhere or maybe abdomen (upper or lower). Any other thoughts?
Re: NTR: Since it's slow around here, wanna help me play "Place the Tattoo?"
I like ribcage tattoos (like on your side). Basically the only way anyone would see it is if you have a bikini on.
Something on your upper back and shoulder could all be covered up as well but would be visible with some styles of shirts.
I like neck tattoos too. I have one and my hair totally covers it. That wouldn't be the case though if I have shorter hair someday.
I think white ink tatoos are awesome. If I got one I'd want it on the inside of my wrist. I would think it would still be very difficult to see in that spot, especialy if it was white ink.
My 2nd vote goes to neck.
I have two... and unless I am wearing a swimsuit or short shirt... no one will know unless I show them. They are both just above my hip on my back right side and my front left. My front left is a little bigger than quarter sized and my one on my back is baseball sized. Even with weight loss/gain they don't appear to have been affected much.
