OMG- I never thought it would be this hard to get my baby girl to sleep in her crib! DD is 6 days old and has been attached to her swing. It's the only place she will sleep! Any suggestions on how to transition her to her crib...or even her pack n' play?
Re: Swing to Crib Transition...
I would say let her sleep there for now. I wish I could get DS to at least sleep in his swing rather than insisting on being in my arms. I consider you lucky to be able to put her down at all.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
I'm right there with ya. Mine is 3 1/2 weeks and will not sleep anywhere else but in my arms.

Both my kiddos slept in a cradle swing due to reflux. DS is still in his swing - anything you can do to get them to sleep at this point is worth it!
With DD we transitioned out of the swing at around 12 weeks. For the "4th trimester" they really do well with movement and by 12 weeks their sleep is more organized and it is easier for them to stay asleep generally.
To transition out of the swing we did stages:
1. Start by putting LO to sleep in the swing with it moving. Once LO is asleep, turn the swing off. Do this for a couple of nights.
2. Put LO down in the swing with it off. Do this for a couple nights.
3. Put LO down in the crib. Revert to swing if necessary for your own sanity, but keep trying the crib first after each waking.
They will eventually sleep in the crib! Good luck :-)
