Induction Scheduled! pre-e question

Hi Girls,

Is anyone else scheduled for an induction at 37 weeks? I have had mild pre-e for the past few weeks. My organ functions look fine, but my protein at my last appointment went from 388 to 517, and my bp has hovered around 140/80 for about a month. They basically just said that since I'll be term at that point let's just get him out, but now I'm worried that they're being too paranoid and he may not be ready. I'm 100% positive that my due date is right, if not a couple days late, and he's been measuring big the whole time, but how do I know he's all the way cooked? My husband is calling the doc today to ask questions in a more clear-headed way than I could at the time, but what do you think? I think I'm mostly looking for reassurance that he'll be okay, because I don't think I have much of an option and I'm pretty ready to be done with the whole pre-e thing...

He will be fine!  He is full term at that point, the biggest concern is making sure that YOU are okay to go through delivery.  Pre-e can be really scary (I went through it with DD)  and it is better that they catch it now, then when you are about to deliver!

Your bub should be perfectly fine.  Our DD was born at 36.4 weeks and weighed in at 7lbs 1oz despite being "pre-term".
