Place to have a christening lunch in Union Country?

Hi -

We are looking to host a brunch / lunch for about 40 people following our baby's christening.  Does anyone know of any places in the Union County area (Westfield, Clark, Scotch Plains, Cranford, etc) where you would suggest we explore?

This is my first post but everyone ravs about using this site as a resource, so thanks in advance for your help!!

    I had my daughter's brunch after her christening at The Stage House in Fanwood.  It was a nice affair :) I'll rattle off a few other places that are reputable and yummy that accommodate private parties...

    Taormina's in Kenilworth (had my shower there...excellent!)

    Westfield- Theresa's, The Brick Oven, Isabella's, Mojave Grille, Cosimos, Acqua Viva, 16 Prospect, Ferraros South

    Cranford- The Garlic Rose, Cervantes of Spain

    Good luck! Summit also has a lot of nice places and is in the area.

    We were just at a christening lunch in Cranford at Cafe Lia and it was very good.  I also agree with Triestinas in Cranford.  They are a nice BYOB.
