Anyone have a nanny?

Our nanny has been with us for one year...so, I'd like to give her a raise.  Is there some special "formula" to use?  Or, do you basically increase it by another $1/hr. 

We live in So Cal and pay her $15/hr, so this would bump her up to $16 ($17/hr just seems like too much).  How have you handled raises?

Yeah, we just gave her a raise by about a dollar an hour. She works 3 days a week so I had thought about giving her a raise from $300 to $325 a week but then realized that would be a PIA when she had a day off so I went to $330 per week or $110 per day.
