Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Can my baby have hair now?

I was just reading through the Selfie post and all of you have beautiful hairy babies.  Heck! Selfie has a hairy baby.

I am thinking about getting DD some hair plugs!  Also, I have now had two dreams that DS will be born with more hair than DD. Gah!

Re: Can my baby have hair now?

  • If it makes you feel any better my niece was pretty much bald until about 2 or 3. Except for a few little ringlets at the nape of her neck

She is now 18 with the most gorgeous THICK ringlet curly hair down to her mid back.  When she wears a pony tail it makes me cry at how much hair is there.  I am so jealous of her hair.  It makes no sense because she was SO bald as a infant toddler

  • I know how you feel! My DD is just starting to get some hair. My mom said that I was bald until I was two and now I have the thickest hair!

  • at 22 months we are JUST starting to see the hair come in! lol its grown a lot in the last 6 months and its ALMOST at his eyebrows! its long enough that when he sweats a little it curls up a bit in the back
  • My dd is totally bald at 18 months except for the mullet in the back.  That is so unfair- bald AND a mullet!  She wears a lot of hats (notice my siggy!)  I hope all the pp are right - that baldies can end up with a lot of hair!  But for now, your dd is not alone in being follicly challenged.
