WWY order?

We're planning on getting takeout for Valentine's Day. The place we chose has pretty much everything available, from salads to pizza to full-on entrees.

DH and I are still somewhat recovering from a weekend of norovirus that swept through the house. The most solid food I've had is toast or tortilla chips. My appetite is slowly returning, but I'm not exactly ready to tuck into a steak and baked potatoes.

So if you were me, what would you get? Would a salad be too much? Maybe soup and a small side?

The salad dressing might be a little much on your tummy.  I would stick to a soup and not too heavy of a side.  Make sure you get some sort of bread or rolls too!

Soup sounds good. Maybe a yummy app and I like the dessert idea. If you're up for it.

I'd stay away from dairy.  Soup and salad sounds pretty safe.

My soup choices were tomato bisque (yay acid), clam chowder (I hate seafood), and french onion soup (gag).

I went with chicken piccata with fettucine. I am still not well, as I was done after a few bites of each and my tummy was rumbling for a half hour.

    *sigh*
