When did/will you have your anatomy scan?

After reading the gender post below it seems like the majority of A/S's are done at week 20.  I am at 17.5 weeks and have mine tomorrow.  Does this seem too early?

I'm at 17w5d.  Mine isn't scheduled until 20w1d.  My ob wouldn't do it before 20 weeks, but a lot of people on this board seem to be doing up to 4 weeks earlier with results so I think its all good.

Mine was originally scheduled for 19w 6 days.. then I needed a level 2 scan, so I had to wait an extra week until 20 weeks 4 days. my dr likes to do them at either 19 or 20 weeks

I had one at 18 w 1 d and there were some things that weren't able to be viewed, so I went back one week later and she said it's amazing how much they change in that one week.

Mine is scheduled for 21w1d.  It coincides w/my monthly appointment.

With DD I had mine at just over 18 weeks.  This time we go on Thursday, 19 weeks 1 day.

I am having mine at 20 weeks. With DS, I think I was 21 weeks. Sometimes if they do it too early, you have to go back b/c they can't measure things accurately.  But I have also heard of some docs doing 2 scans...one at like 17 weeks and a follow-up one at 21 weeks.  My OB just does one, though.

i was given the option to do it from 18 weeks to 20 but i chose to make an appointment during the 20th week

Mine will be when I am 18 week 1 day.  My OB prefers to have it between 18-20 weeks but my monthly appointment was already scheduled for that day so it makes it easier to knock it all out at one appointment!

I was 21 weeks and a few days when I had mine.

I also went at week 18 and they had to have me come back at week 20 for a follow-up on some stuff they weren't able to get the 1st time around.

It really is amazing how much changes in those few days!

It obviously varies from dr to dr.  Mine wouldn't do it a day before 19 weeks since the point of the scan is to check out different things with the baby and they want to ensure everything is developed enough to get the correct measurements.  Its just an added bonus to find out if its a boy or girl, which I've heard people can get those results as early as 15-16 weeks if they have an extra ultrasound for another reason.  I would just go with whatever your dr recommends as they are the expert with your pregnancy and every pregnancy is different!

Have fun at your A/S.  It is so fun to so amazing to see your baby for an extended time!  I was amazed as at 7 weeks our baby looked like a blob and at 19 weeks we could see all the limbs and even watched her sucking her thumb!

I had mine at 21 weeks but they were not able to see everything because of her position so i need to go back at 25 weeks. my doc said he doesnt like to do them before 20 weeks because some things are harder to see clearly.

With my DD I had it at 19w 2 d. With this pregnancy I'm having it at 20 weeks 2 days.  It's scheduled for March 15th.

Mine is scheduled for 3/2.  I think I'll be like 20 weeks 6days.. something like that.

My A/S was at 20w5d.

We had an elective u/s at 15w5d to determine the sex earlier, but it would have been too early to get all the important measurements needed at the A/S.

Enjoy your A/S! Its wonderful to see LO for such a long period of time bouncing around in there.

My Doctor's office Schedules the anatomy scan between 20 and 22 weeks.  When I go for my monthly visit on March 6th I'll more than likely schedule the U/S.  I can't wait to be able to refer to my baby as a him or her.

Mine is scheduled for 17wks 1 day.  I asked over & over if this was too early and I was told by the u/s techs, nurses in ob and my OB herself that 17wks was fine and they'd be able to tell the sex (as long as baby cooperates of course).

I had mine at 18 weeks 4 days and they were able to see everything just fine!

Mine will also be at 17.5 weeks. Believe it or not, my doc wanted to do it earlier and I just said I wasn't available until March 1. I hope it's accurate & the baby lets us see!

Ours was done at 18w 2d and they saw absolutely everything. Didn't have to go back for anything and got a very very very clear "money" shot lol

Well I just noticed you're having twins - that might be why it's a little earlier than most.  Mine was at 18w3d.  I was given a range between 18 and 22 weeks and I just picked the earliest possible appointment (instant gratification, much?).  I wouldn't worry.
