Only eating certain foods

I tired giving my LO nuggets for lunch today.. she would NOT eat them.. then I tried mashed potatoes too.. she wouldn't eat them.  She's had them both before and has eaten them but not today.  So I have her strawberries instead.. she inhaled them... then at dinner just now I tried noodles with light spaghetti sauce on them.. she wouldn't eat them.. I tried carrots from my food, nope.  I ended up giving her strawberries, pears, and peaches.

Anyone elses LO like this?  I'm afraid she isn't getting enough nutrition.

This isn't the first time she has done stuff like this.

  • I don't have any advice... just know that you're not alone.  We're going through that right now as well.

  • Sounds exactly like my LO.  My pedi said to look at what they eat over a week, no so much over a day - because obviously, some days they eat better than others!

  • Must be the name...I have a Sofia and she does this sometimes.  She loves fruit and will try and eat only fruit.  Part of her issue is wanting to eat herself.  I try and give her a spoon and let her feed herself (which is really more playing) while I shove a different spoon in her mouth.  This works sometimes.
