    this... no biggy at all.

  • Yes - I've had a few removed and I was very nervous too.  They numb the area so the worst part was the little prick of the needle.  Otherwise it went very fast.  For one of my moles, she had to go back because they couldn't see the edges.  That required a stitch to close and that wasn't even that bad.

  • DH had one removed. It was a really quick/easy procedure. Good luck tomorrow!
  • I had one removed "down town" when I gave birth to DD. She just gave me a shot to numb the area, cut it off, and put 2 stitches in. No big deal at all.

  • kg_08 Good to know! I have a mole on my extreme upper, inner thigh and I'm scared of that removal the most! I'm having 5 moles removed tomorrow, ugh.

  • I have had them frozen off, cut off requiring stitches, and removed where it only needed a band-aid. It won't be that bad, I promise!

  • I've had it done before on my face, but my situation could easily be different than yours. I had a "colorless" mole on my face that basically looked like a big mosquito bite on my face for years. I finally got it off 6-7 years after it surfaced. Because mine was on my face no doctor would touch it but a plastic surgeon. He kept trying to convince me to leave it on & that it wasn't that bad... well after he cut it out he realized that it indeed was big and he advised that "WE" made the right decision HA. Anyway, so easy all you feel is the numbing needle which honestly isn't that bad. I had about 7 stitches but I think that was just because it was on my face. Not bad at all and I don't regret it. Oddly I remember feeling the tugging sensation when he was stitching me up because my lip would move and thought it was kind of cool. GOOD LUCK!

  • I've had a couple of moles removed. I don't like the sensation of them removing it, even though it's numbed up. But overall, it's fast and not very bad!

Same here. I had one on my neck that was no bother or concerning. But as DS got older he started to mess with it and it was sensitive so about a year ago I had them remove it. Very easy and mostly painless. Pathology was normal.

  • I had one remove from my foot sole. The only pain/discomfort was from the anestesia. I had some trouble walking given the particular location of mine.

It was quick and easy, you'll ne fine ;)

  • I've had 2 larger moles cut off requiring a butterfly incision with stitches, one off my back and one off my shin. The back one was trickier because it's hard to keep that area still during recovery, and I do have obvious scarring. But overall it's very quick and manageable for recovery. I've also had skintags removed with freezing and that's super easy.
