DD broke her hurst tooth on Friday and since then her sleep has gone down the tubes. She is waking much more often than usual, having a harder time falling asleep, whimpering more while sleeping. I have tried hylands teething gel and gave her some pediacare (baby acetaminophen). As I will always attend to my baby if she is ill or in pain, I did go to her each time last night and now worry we will have taken several steps back in sleeping habits. Anyone else go through this? Any recommendations? Have we ruined the good sleep place we worked so hard to get to?
Re: XP: Difficult time sleeping while teething
We're going through the same thing now. He's in so much pain-rubbing his gums, grabbing his ear, whimpering and rolling back and forth. It freaking sucks.
Last night we gave him some Infant Tylenol but it just took the edge off, I believe. He had a miserable night and all I'm doing is praying those two bottom teeth pop through any second!
I will say that his sleep went back to normal after they popped. He also slept pretty well when he was teething. I did Tylenol for him, though.
If you find out, let me know!!!
