My girls are here!

After 12 days on hospital besrest and being sent home at 35w1d, my water broke the morning that I was 36w (Monday). The girls both arrived via c/s due to A being breech at 8:27am. Baby A (Adelyn Claire- on the right below) weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and was 18.5" long. Baby B (Delaney Paige- on the left below) weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and was 18.5" long.

Adelyn got a clean bill of health and went right to mother/baby with me. Delaney had some extra fluid that was causing a lot of grunting so after our time together in recovery they took her to the NICU. She's been there since but is doing better each day. Her respiratory issues seem to be a thing of the past and she's now just working on feeding. We're hoping to have her home with us this week.

Thank you so much everyone! We are just smitten, of course. I cannot wait to have my 3 kiddos together... big brother doesn't even know there's another sister still to come!
