We bought a lullaby baby soother and we want to attach it to the crib but it didn't come with a strap. I thought about using zip ties to attach it but that doesn't look cute. Any ideas? Too bad they don't make velcro straps for this kind of thing.
You can buy a roll of velcro and cut it to the right length to make a strap. I use these all the time in my classroom. I usually order it from a teacher supply store like Really Good Stuff but you might be able to get at Michael's or some other craft store. Just attach the sticky part to the soother, then wrap it around the crib rail (or wherever you had planned) and velcro together
I can't remember if there's a special name for it, but there's a kind of velcro you can buy that is sticky on one side, It's used to hold roman blinds in place, so it can hold a far bit of weight. Any fabric store should carry it.
Or could you use ribbons? Of course you may want to glue the 'bow' down so that the baby can't pull them apart.

They do make velcro straps!

Mhmmm. Use the zipties- cut the extra part off nd tie a nice lil ribbon of your choice around the ziptie to hide it. SHABAM.
