It's DH's only day off (assuming that he doesn't get called in) so I'm doubting that he'll be up for much of anything (He'll be coming off of night shifts that morning).
DH has been traveling for work for the last two valentines days. Well really more, but before that I was able to go with him for my work. He is gone again this year, and I can not go with so I will be having dinner with my BFF. She is single and so we hang out with DD.
We rarely do anything for Valentines day. It's busy, you get shiity service, everything is overpriced. We think we are going out for a steak dinner with my parents on Wednesday though.
H has class but I may make the effort to both stay awake until he gets home and do some downtown maintenance (I already can't see past the bump so things have gone a but out of control, he would never say anything but I'm sure he will notice).
February is a big month for us - Valentine's day, my birthday and February vacation (a week of from school/work -whoo!) so we're going to go out for my b-day but not v-day. DH is going to cook after DS goes to bed. Yay! Just staying in
MIL is flying in on V day, and we made plans to go out Friday while she is here. Feb 14th is our actual 3rd wedding anniversary. Even though we got married 3/28 in Mexico, we decided to get married legally in Vegas before we left. It just so happened that day was Valentine's Day (it was a Saturday, we didn't really plan it that way but it worked out.) Anyway, I told him not to buy me flowers so we'll probably just exchange cards and then go out for a nice dinner.
This is our 9th V-day together and I don't think we have actually gone out on the day ever. lol Like pp said...way too over priced, crappy service and too crowded for our liking, but we will be going out to dinner the next day for our 4th wedding anniversary.
We have Bible study on Tuesday nights but I doubt we'll go. DH needs new dress shoes so I'll probably buy him some for Vday and get him a card. I'm gonna try to put DS to bed early and cook DH a nice dinner and then hopefully so long overdue sexy time haha

We are one of those annoying couples who don't do anything for Valentine's Day.
I think this will be our 10th Valentine's Day together (wow!). We did go out on a fun date (rock climbing, dinner, and be bought me a ton of flowers) for our first V-day together. But then after that we had a long distance relationship for 4 years (college for me/military for him) and never did anything for V-day since we never really got to be together on the actual day.
DH has school that night after work. So I'll be on my own for dinner/bathtime/bed with DS. DH will probably get home around 8:30pm. So not much time to do anything anyway.

That sounds like so much fun! Our first Valentine's Day, DH lied to me and told me that he was working when he was really at my neighbor's house cooking me dinner. He put a table cloth on the ground in the center of a heart shaped out of rose petals and we had a picnic and he took me to a concert.

Just ordering in food. And only because I insisted. DH doesn't believe in Valentine's Day, haha. According to him, it's a made up holiday. So if it's his choice, we'd never do anything. I think we celebrated it while we were dating, but not since we got married.
Shiit.... I gues this means that I should go buy him a card?? We don't have the cash for presents, but I should probably get him a card and his fav candy bar or something over lunch tommorrow. I need to be somewhat romantic since he wrote me a sonnet for our anniversary.
Back in the day when we had money we'd go out for a nice meal, but I'm pretty sure we're going to get take out, give DD a bath, and split a bottle of martini and rossi.
Re: Do you have Valentine's Day/Night plans?
We are going out to lunch tomorrow afternoon while my mom keeps LO and we are due for some much needed "alone" time.
