I am really at a loss as to what this kiddo is going to wear once it gets here. I had my shower, but we are team green so I didn't get a lot of clothes.
I mostly have short sleeved onesies, a few long and short sleeved side snap shirts, a couple long sleeved gowns, a couple of footed sleepers, and a couple pairs of pants.
I can't help but look at the clothes I have and the time I have left and panic a little because I don't know what I need. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I feel like such a noob!
FWIW, I live in TX and it's in the 50-70s right now and we keep our house at 68.
Re: what do I need for baby clothing?
My mom couldn't get to Carters fast enough to bring dd a new wardrobe at the hospital once we had her and found out she was a girl. Even my dad went out and picked out a couple things. I'm sure you'll get gifts once the baby is born. If not, it's a good excuse to go shopping! In fact, I have hardly bought dd any clothes because she got lots when she was born in NB size, then at Christmas she was given a whole 0-3 month wardrobe.
I'd have some onesies, some footed sleepers, and the sleep gowns or sleep sacks are nice too. Oh, and teeny tiny socks and maybe a hat or two since they need help keeping their head warm that early on.
