I noticed I lost my MP when I was 37 weeks; however I didn't go into labor until I was 42 weeks.

I never noticed mine. I had a tiny streak of what I thought might be MP a few weeks before but I was never sure if it actually was MP or not.

I lost mine AFTER my water broke.... weird...

I lost my mucus plug all throughout the day last Sunday (2/5) and had my baby the next day (2/6).

Yeah, I think I lost mine around 36 weeks and got induced the day before my due date. But I definitely noticed it come out...it was HUGE!

Thanks so much for your input, ladies! Wednesday night and last night I had contractions all night long about 8-10 minutes apart. They lasted for a little while after I got up this morning, but they've since stopped. Since I hadn't lost my mucus plug yet, I was just wondering if it was possible to start "real" labor without losing (or noticing the loss of) my plug. However, since the contractions have stopped, I'm guessing it wasn't the real thing.

The first two times I lost it was before labor began, the third time I lost it while in active labor.

I lost the majority of my mucus plug just right before leaving for the hospital.  By this point, I had been labouring at home for about 12 hours.  I continued to lose the rest of it at the hospital.
