I make guacamole and ham sandwiches. Is guac a condiment?
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.
Oh... I also have an unhealthy addiction to anything with horseradish. Love it straight, mixed with mayo, etc. I will put it on pretty much everything (hot dogs, burgers, steaks, chicken, etc.)
I love A-1 on burgers, fries, & right out of the bottle!!
Is it wrong that I think it is acceptable on a burger, but not on a steak? LMK
No. A-1 is alright on a burger, but it ruins a good steak. I served at Outback and used to cringe when people would ask for some A-1 with their filet (a usually well done filet). I used to go away thinking, "Why don't you save yourself some money and just get the sirloin, because you just ruined a nice piece of meat?"

No cause they are two totally different cuts of meat and hamburger typically needs it or something. I don't like anything on my steak but it better be a really good steak.

::shortened quote tree:: FIL wil go to a restaurant, order a $30 steak & drench it in ketchup. It's baffling to me why he would ruin a perfectly good steak like that.

EXACTLY. I served at a Steakhouse as well, and I had a girl (on a date with an older man) order...(sit down) a KOBE filet and put steak sauce on that shiiiiit! I wanted to PUNCH HER!
I like A-1 on baked potatoes. I also like mustard on my sloppy joes. DH thinks it's gross, but he hates mustard. So his opinion on the matter is shiit.
I also used to wait tables and would put money that 9 times out of 10, if they order the steak well done, they will request steak sauce.
ETA: I also like to use leftover Thanksgiving turkey to make sandwiches. I put A-1 on those too. Nothing else. Just turkey, bread and A-1.

She would've been better off lighting $50 on fire.
I eat my steaks as rare as they'll cook them. I've had steak tartare before when I lived in Paris for three months. I wish I could have it every day.

It is like steak stereotyping, is it not? You could almost always guess which ones would do it too.

I have worked my way down. I was a med-well, then med, now I am a med-rare kinda girl. Steak Tartare is awesome
Re: Have you ever used A-1 in a heinous way?
No but I have definitely used whip cream and chocolate sauce in a heinous way
Mom2Oli: I looooovvveeee Cholula. But have never tried it on a salad. Brilliant idea.
I love it too. I eat it on EVERYTHING. EVERY-THING!
Gag to A-1.
I have an Inglehoffer Stone Ground Mustard addiction. I eat it straight out of the jar. It's delicious.
Cholula or Tobasco in mac n' cheese and everything else, for that matter.
I make a mix of mustard and mayo to dip my fries in.
No. I'm a compartmental eater anyway, so if I do require any sauce (rare), I put it on the side and dip.

Not wrong. The juicy goodness of steak does not require sauce. But condiments on burgers is acceptable and delicious.
::shudder::
DH totally side-eyes me for doing this. I knew I couldn't be the only one.
I get it at Kroger, so I'm thinking it's widely available. And awesome.
Oh, and Sooks... try and make me!

Guac is delicious on sandwiches, burgers, crappy steaks, chicken, pork...everything.
Guac is the bomb.
Fancy sauce doy!
In college, I used to buy those like 10lb bags of breaded shrimp and live off of it. I would dip it in A-1. It was the perfect drunk food.
