Cloth Diapering

Been CD for over a week and...

I LOVE it!  I love not having to worry about getting stinky diapers out of the house, and I love not having the guilt of filling up the landfill when he messes a diaper and needs a new one in a few hours.  I'm bad at wanting to put away the prefolds between washes, but it's almost just as easy to grab them out of the laundry basket and fold as I go.  I'm thinking about adding another dozen prefolds to the stash because he wets them so quick and I feel like I have to wash every day to keep up.

Thank you ladies for talking me into going this route and answering my many questions.  Now I feel like I can be an active contributor because I (sorta) know what I'm talking about now. :)

  • Yay!  Congrats on your LO!  I'm bad at putting away the diapers after I wash them, too.  I have a pretty big stash now that DD's in OS, so sometimes they sit in the dryer for a day before they get put away.  Lazy!

  • I keep mine in a laundry basket all the time.  No need to put them away, lol.
  • We just put our prefolds and covers in a basket by the changing table, no need to fold!
